Colts Update as at 1 June 2008

The season has started well we had 2 pre season games against Sumner and Burnham wining them both.The season started well with a good win against Prebbleton followed by some very tight games which we have managed to win other than a dissappointing default to Springston the Season is going very well.

At the end of the first round we are the leading the Colts grade by 3 points over Southern and Springston so we will be in for some tough  games over the next few weeks.

The team is made of mix of players from both Lincoln and Canterbury University and local players who have come through the club system.

We have had several players selected for Ellesmere rep teams.

With Canterbury Country teams still to be named there is chances for more players to be selected for rep teams.

The team is coached By Sean[cowshit] Corcoran, Kerry [porker] Pauling,and Dave [policeman] Pitkethley Kerry played for Canterbury and New Zealand Services and Dave has played for Auckland so no shortage of experience on the coaching paddock.

We are all looking forward to the rest of the season (Coaches,Players and Manager)
