Christchurch - Champion Metro Club for 2011

Toby Giles and Ken Pope At the Metropolitan Rugby Clubs Association Annual General Meeting, Toby Giles, on behalf of the Christchurch Football Club was presented with the Evans Shield, Redpath Shield and Wilsons 45 South Cup. Congratulations to the Christchurch Football Club and all teams on their achievements in the Metropolitan competitions, both Open Grades and Junior grades.

The Evans Shield is awarded to the club with the top total aggregate of points for both Open Grade and Junior competitive grades.

The Wilsons 45 South Cup is awarded to the club with the top total aggregate of Open Grade Team points, divided by number of teams with a minimum of 3 teams.

The Redpath Shield is awarded to the club with the top total aggregate of points for the Junior competition grades (i.e. Under 11 – Under 18).
