More Than Just a Game
Way back in February many of us involved in schools rugby wondered if we would have a season at all. As it turned out, we had an outstanding year. St. Bede's won the Press Cup for the fourth time, Ellesmere College won the Midweek Senior Boys Competition, Christchurch Girls' High won the Senior Girls Competition for the first time, Lincoln won the Junior Boys and Linwood won the Girls Tens. Ellesmere College took out the College Day trophy at the beginning of the season and Rangi Ruru won Tens Festival at the end of the season. We like to think that, in it's own way, schools rugby at all levels has played an important role in the healing process. Have a great summer, we look forward to seeing you all again in 2012.
