Sparkling SEVENS launch the Midweek season in style

Played against a background of an autumnal Hagley Park looking its very best, the 24SEVENS again provided the perfect start to the Midweek Secondary Schools season.The event was infused with music supplied by the 24-7 Youth Workers and seven boys and thirteen girls teams lit up the afternoon with some sparkling rugby played in a great spirit. The fact that Crusaders coaches Mark Hammett and Daryl Gibson mingled with the players for a large part of the afternoon added hugely to the atmosphere. If the 24SEVENS are anything to go by, we are in for an excellent Midweek season this year.
