CBHS Rugby Festival

Over the Easter weekend, secondary school teams from all over New Zealand and Australia participated in the CBHS Rugby Festival. Played in a format that seeks to match up teams of similar strength for ideal pre-season preparation, the Festival’s emphasis is on helping schools create early momentum and possibly to finalise team selection. This year’s Festival was played over three glorious autumn days, with teams from CBHS, St. Bede’s College, Burnside HS, St. Thomas’s College, Lincoln HS, Papanui HS and Rangiora HS joining those of schools from the North Island and from Australia. All involved enjoyed the great weather and good competition.
