Ellesmere College Take Out First Midweek Trophy

30 Jul 2009

despite a Cashmere fight back towards the break - never looked like relinquishing it. Playing with the wind at their backs in the second half, Ellesmere kicked well, controlled territory and made it difficult for Cashmere to break out of their own half. Despite being without a number of key players, Cashmere never gave up and put up a determined fight right until the end.

Going forward, Cashmere look forward to playing for the Cashmorton Cup against their rivals Hillmorton HS on August 5th, while Ellesmere will be focusing on the end-of-season tens tournament at Burnside Park.
