Over a Hundred Girls at Skills DayConducted by the CRFU coaching staff under the direction of Kim Browne, Girls Skills Day attracted well over a hundred secondary school girls to South Hagley Park for a pre-season coaching clinic. Ranging from experienced players to complete novices, the girls were given instruction around key areas of the game including correct scrummaging, safety in contact and simple catching and passing skills, all of which were delivered with a light touch and a sense of fun that can only have left the girls looking forward to the season ahead.
