Bonus point wins for Christchurch Boys' High School, St. Bede's College and St. Andrew's College keep these three teams first-equal at the top of the table with maximum points, but Christ's College and Nelson College also had sound victories.
Boys' High ran out overwhelming winners over Lincoln High School, 105-0, St. Bede's beat Waimea College 61-0 and St. Andrew's College won their northwest Christchurch derby against Burnside High School 53-8. Roncalli College posted their first win in the Press Cup, beating Ashburton College, away in Ashburton, which of course is no mean feat. Shirley BHS play Marlborough Boys' College on Tuesdsay at Burwood Park with 12.00pm kick-off.
