St. Bede's College 1st XV "back on the horse"After being beaten at Nelson College last weekend, St. Bede's College 1st XV rejigged its backline and reshuffled the forward pack for the game against Ashburton College. Talk of injuries to key players was pushed aside as opportunities were given to younger players to step up to challenge for starting positions. While 16 tries were scored, St. Bede's stuck to pattern, playing with good structure for the duration of the 70 minutes. For Ashburton College, Ryan Cone played well at halfback behind a beaten pack.
