Mairehau HS vs St. Bede's Rugby ESOL - Match ReportMairehau HS hosted the St. Bede's College Rugby ESOL boys for a 10-a-side match which the St.Bede's won 54-36 in a game that was evenly balanced until the final few minutes when the visitors scored three tries in quick succession after good flowing movements. For the St. Bede's Japanese team Mitsuhiro Sakai, Satoshi Saita, Yoshiki Norikawa and Sakae Hayashi were prominent, while Ren Yakushijin did well to play after being sick in bed with a cold for two days. It remains to be seen if his running around in the rain will hasten his recovery! Sam Rough, Mairehau HS Rugby Administrator, did an excellent job as referee.
