St. Bede's College demolished Burnside HS 113-0, Christchurch BHS comfortably beat Waimea College 61-0, Christ's College ran away with their game against Ashburton College 67-0 and Nelson College made Roncalli College's trip north an unrewarding one, by beating the South Canterbury team 72-11. In the middle of the table, St. Andrew's College lost to Marlborough College 17-25 in Blenheim, Shirley BHS beat St Thomas's 25-18 and Timaru BHS were comfortable winners over Lincoln HS 61-5.
