St. Bede's (49-5 over Shirley BHS), Christ's College (28-8 over Roncalli) and Christchurch BHS (22-3 over St. Andrew's) all took maximum competition points from their games. In other games, Timaru's long trip to Blenheim proved very worthwhile in that they came away with a 10-5 victory, and St. Thomas's beat Lincoln 26-17 in another way victory. The round is completed on Tuesday with the crucial bottom of the table clash between Burnside HS and Ashburton College at Burnside.
