Higashi Fukuoka U17s beat St. Bede's 3rd XV 36 - 12Today the Higashi Fukuoka U17s beat the St. Bede's College 3rd XV 36-12 after being up 29-0 at half-time. In an impressive first half the visitors played a high tempo game to run in five tries, but in a more even second half the St. Bede's boys managed to control possession well and scored two tries to the Higashi Fukuoka one. For Higashi Fukuoka tries were scored by Yoshikazu Fujita (2), Mitsuhiro Sakai, Kengo Wada, Tatsunori Nishi and Koyo Noda. Yoshikazu Fujita converted two of the tries and Koyo Noda one. For St. Bede's, tries were scored by Liam Spencer and Ben Bradley with one conversion by Josh Robles McGill. This match is played for annually for the Tanizaki Cup.
