Riccarton Juniors First International GameRiccarton Juniors continued their school's connection with Higashi Fukuoka HS, by playing the Japanese school's U16 team in the first game of their tour based in Christchurch. The Riccarton Junior Boys bravely stuck to the task, but were overpowered 92-0 by their bigger and slightly older opponents. As should be the case in these games, the match was only part of the fun, with lively interaction occurring in the aftermatch function. Higashi Fukuoka's goal-kicking No. 8 Shoma Makinouchi stood out with his activity around the field and impressive kicking ability.
