Avonside Dig DeepA delighted Avonside team (pictured left) came from 17-0 down at half time to beat St Margaret's College 19-17 in the Plate final of the Burnside Girls Tens played today. In the main event CGHS gave Papanui a run for their money scoring three tries but yet again the Papanui girls proved too strong and took out the Cup for the second consecutive year. In the Bowl Final, Asburton made the journey north worthwhile by defeating Linwood College. Grateful thanks go to the referees who played a large part in ensuring the event ran smoothly.
