Sumner Playing in Pink for a Good Cause

The Sumner Division Two team has decided to leverage off the back of this Saturday's game at Rugby Park and its television coverage, to raise funds for the Breast Cancer Foundation. They will be taking the field in pink socks - the trademark colour of the charity. They will also be using a pink ball for the game and this will be auctioned off post match.

Team members and their partners are involved in various activities this week to raise funds, and whilst this is a team initiative, obviously they do so with the Club's blessing.

Sumner are unbeaten so far in the first round of the Divison Two - CBS Canterbury Cup. They strike Lyttelton this weekend, who are also remain unbeaten so far in the competition.Kick-off is at 2.45pm.
